Secure locking of a machine setting using clamping plates
When changing formats on production machines, spindles are set to suitable values using mechanical or electronic position indicators from SIKO. To ensure trouble-free production, it makes sense to fix these position values using a clamping device. This prevents unwanted movement of the spindle from its position due to vibrations, external forces or simply incorrect operation by the machine operator.
Manual clamping plates are cost-effective and provide a wide range of applications
Manual clamping plates are used to lock the position directly after the manual adjustment process. The outer contour of the various models is optimally matched to the electronic and mechanical spindle position indicators from SIKO. Regardless of whether a mechanical digital SIKO counter from the DA series, a freely programmable electronic position indicator from the DE series or a bus-compatible digital indicator is used. The shape is maintained by the matching design of the outer contour.
Clamping lever with variable position
With the manual clamping elements of the KP series, the position of the clamping lever can often be varied. This enables design integration and subsequent practical accessibility, even in confined spaces.
Pneumatic clamping plates lock on command
The KP09P pneumatic clamping plate enables convenient and secure locking of all adjustment axes on a machine. At the push of a button on the pneumatic control system, the clamping plates are pneumatically actuated and lock the spindles in position with a holding torque of up to 3 Nm.
Clamping plate in solo use
Adapted to the contour of the proven SIKO DA09S counter, combined use of spindle indicator and pneumatic clamping plate is the ideal solution. However, the compact and robust design of the clamping plate also makes it possible to use it as a stand-alone clamping element to lock all types of rotary adjustment axes on a machine
